Active Physical Therapy – Back Pain Exercises

In addition to passive therapies, active physical therapy (exercise) is also necessary to rehabilitate patients experiencing neck and back pain. Generally, a patient's back exercise program should encompass a combination of the following:

  1. Active Range of Motion Exercises.
  2. Flexibility exercises.
  3. Spinal Stabilization Exercises.
  4. Core Strengthening Exercises.
